3M™ Tegaderm™ Transparent Film Dressing provides a waterproof, sterile barrier that protects I.V. sites and wounds from external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, blood, and body fluids. In vitro testing demonstrates that the transparent film acts as a viral barrier against viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger, as long as the dressing remains intact without leakage. Its breathable film allows oxygen in while letting moisture vapor out, supporting a healthy wound environment.
The unique picture-frame delivery design ensures easy, accurate placement, minimizing the risk of the dressing sticking to gloves or itself during application. Comfortable and flexible, Tegaderm™ conforms to the skin and can be worn for up to 7 days.
