Mepitel One
Mepitel One is a gentle, one-sided wound contact layer with Safetac® technology – the original less-pain silicone adhesive. It is designed to softly conform to the skin without sticking to the moist wound, allowing for easy removal without damaging fragile skin or newly formed tissue. This means less pain for patients and undisturbed healing.
The perforated design lets exudate pass through to a secondary absorbent dressing while allowing the delivery of topical treatments. Because it is transparent and adhesive on one side, Mepitel One is easy to handle and enables continuous observation of the wound without removing the dressing.

Indications:
Mepitel One is suitable for a wide variety of wounds, including:
- Painful wounds
- Skin tears and abrasions
- Surgical incisions
- Partial thickness burns
- Traumatic wounds, blisters, lacerations
- Partial and full thickness grafts
- Leg and foot ulcers
It may also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds or fragile skin. The open structure allows topical ointments to pass through to the wound where clinically indicated.
Compatible with Mesorb®, Mextra® Superabsorbent (for high-exuding wounds), Tubifast® fixation, compression bandages, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT).
